Active and Safe Life in the 55+ Community - a 2-day program

News!

Are you 55+ and would like to become more active, informed, and better prepared for unexpected situations?

We invite residents aged 55+ from Rae, Viimsi, and Jõelähtme municipalities to participate in the two-day practical program “Active and Safe Life in the 55+ Community”.

During these two engaging days, you will gain practical knowledge about crisis preparedness and water safety, participate in age-appropriate physical activities, and take part in a creative-cognitive engineering workshop as part of the Golden Age Pro program.


Program includes:

  • Crisis preparedness and civil protection

We will learn how to prepare for unexpected situations, how to act during a crisis, and which simple steps can help increase safety and confidence in everyday life.

  • Water safety

We will discuss in a practical and easy-to-understand way how to prevent water accidents, behave safely near bodies of water, and help yourself and others in dangerous situations.

  • Movement and wellbeing

Participants will take part in physical activities suitable for the 55+ age group that support balance, mobility, and self-confidence.

  • Creative-cognitive engineering workshop


At the Golden Age Pro (Young Engineers) workshop, participants will build, experiment, and create simple mechanical models. The activities support concentration, fine motor skills, creativity, and communication.

This is a great opportunity to learn something new, stay active, meet other people, and spend two days in a safe and supportive environment.

Who is it for?

Residents aged 55+ from Rae, Viimsi, and Jõelähtme municipalities

Participation is free of charge.

Participation requires pre-registration. Transport is provided for participants from Jõelähtme and Rae municipalities.


The project is co-financed by the European Union and Põhja-Harju Koostöökogu.
