The Camp “Me and the Sea” helps broaden horizons, introduces children to

sailing and active marine activities, teaches safe behavior by and in the water,

and offers a true sea adventure together with professional rescuers, sailors,

surfers, and scouts!

Sailing, sea rescue, surfing, hiking, scouts, and future professions for children aged 9–13

Locations: Tallinn (Pirita and Stroomi) and Viimsi
Price: €239

 

We invite boys and girls aged 9–13 to a unique summer camp where maritime activities are combined with exploring different professions! This is an intensive, active week full of adventures, new skills, and lively communication.

The camp is suitable both for children who already love the sea and sports, and for those who want to try something completely new — sailing, surfing, rescue work, and engineering thinking.

 

The program is coordinated by the Happy Classes Training Center, which has over 6 years of experience in organizing thematic and sports camps.

 

All activities are conducted only by experienced and trusted professionals:

• Sailing and maritime safety — PIRITA WATERGRATT SAR (search and rescue service)

• Surfing, sports, and hiking — TIME TO SURF (surfing and snowboarding school team)

• Guest speakers — firefighters and police officers (life-saving skills and internet safety)

• Special guests — scouts from the Estonian Scout Association

• Educational forest hike with an RMK guide

 

What do the days look like?

Each morning, children gather in Pirita or Viimsi and take part in a full, exciting day from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Lunch and snacks are included — catering provided by Viimsi Spa and Sardiinid restaurants.

 

4-day program

Day 1 – Water Safety: the Rescuer Profession

With PIRITA WATERGRATT SAR rescuers:

• water safety rules, equipment, and rescue basics

• practical exercises and rescue scenarios

• insight into the real work and mission of professional rescuers

Day 2 – Sailing: the Sailor and Helmsman Professions

With the WATERGRATT captain and sea crew:

• a sailing trip — a real sea adventure

• basics of sail handling, boat structure, and teamwork

• sea stories and discussions about navigation professions

Day 3 – Hiking and Engineering

Meeting with rescuers and police officers:

• creative session — colors and canvas: painting “Summer Mood”

• afternoon creative labs by Happy Classes

• creating a personal “future project”: logo, mission, presentation

• learning about the tools and experience of rescuers and police officers

• hike in Viimsi with an RMK guide and scouts

• survival skills, nature awareness, and environmental responsibility

• meeting real scouts — life skills, teamwork, and helpfulness

Day 4 – Surf and Freedom: the Coach and Instructor Professions At Stroomi Beach:

• surfing, paddleboarding (SUP), and kitesurfing with instructors

• water and beach games, basics of physical training

• discussion about professions related to an active lifestyle
