Sailing, Water Rescue, Surfing, Hiking, Scouting and Future Careers

We invite boys and girls aged 8–13 to join a unique summer camp where active seaside adventures are combined with hands-on experiences exploring exciting maritime professions. It will be an energetic week filled with adventure, new skills, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.

The camp is perfect both for children who already love the sea and sports and for those who would like to try something completely new, including sailing, surfing, rescue operations, and engineering projects.

The programme is coordinated by Happy Classes, an educational centre with more than six years of experience organising educational and sports camps.

Activities are led by experienced professionals

  • Sailing and Water Safety – PIRITA WATERGRATT SAR

  • Surfing, Sports and Outdoor Activities – Time to Surf Surf & Snowboard School

  • Guest Experts – Professional lifeguards and police officers (real-life safety and internet safety)

  • Special Guests – Members of the Estonian Scout Movement

  • Forest Hike with an RMK nature guide

 

How does the camp work?

Every morning children meet in Pirita or Viimsi and participate in an exciting programme from 10:00 to 17:00.

Daily lunch and snacks are included.

Meals are provided by Viimsi Spa and Sardiinid Restaurant.

 

4-Day Programme

Day 1 – Water Safety: Becoming a Lifeguard

Together with professionals from PIRITA WATERGRATT SAR, children will:

  • learn safe behaviour around water;

  • become familiar with rescue equipment;

  • understand the basics of water rescue;

  • participate in practical rescue exercises and simulations;

  • discover what a real lifeguard's working day looks like and what it means to help others.

Day 2 – Sailing Adventure

Together with the WATERGRATT captain and crew, children will:

  • sail on a real yacht;

  • learn the basics of sailing;

  • discover how a yacht works;

  • experience teamwork on board;

  • hear fascinating stories from life at sea;

  • learn about careers connected with sailing and navigation.

Day 3 – Hiking, Engineering and Creative Workshops

Children will meet professional lifeguards and police officers.

Programme highlights:

  • Creative art workshop – "Colours on Canvas: Summer Mood"

  • Happy Classes Engineering & Creativity Labs

  • Interactive session with police officers and rescue professionals, who will introduce their equipment and share real-life experiences.

Forest Hike and Orienteering in Viimsi

Together with an RMK guide and Estonian Scouts, children will explore the beautiful Viimsi Peninsula.

They will learn:

  • basic survival skills;

  • how to recognise animal tracks;

  • environmental awareness and respect for nature.

A special highlight will be meeting members of the Estonian Scout Movement, who will demonstrate the valuable life skills Scouts develop, including:

  • helping others;

  • teamwork;

  • practical everyday skills.

Day 4 – Surfing and Freedom: Life as a Coach or Instructor

 

At Stroomi Beach children will enjoy:

  • surfing;

  • stand-up paddleboarding (SUP);

  • kite surfing with professional instructors;

  • beach games and water sports;

  • basic physical training and water safety;

  • discussions about careers connected with sports and an active lifestyle.

 

The Camp Fee Includes

  • Participation in all four programme days;

  • Daily lunch and snacks;

  • All materials and equipment;

  • Professional supervision and safety throughout the programme;

  • The possibility to pay in instalments by prior arrangement.
