Info
Mental Mathematics is a brain development system based on the use of the abacus (Soroban – Japanese counting frame), enabling children to solve mathematical problems of any level of difficulty.
The program is based on a unique methodology that promotes the harmonious development of children's mental and creative abilities, helping them unlock their full intellectual and creative potential. It is known that learning stimulates brain activity. The more we train our brain, the more actively the neural connections between the right and left hemispheres develop. As a result, tasks that once seemed difficult or even impossible become simple and easy to understand.
According to scientific research, the brain develops most intensively between the ages of 4 and 12. Skills acquired during this period are learned quickly, retained easily, and remain for many years. Therefore, they can have a significant impact on a child's future success.
Mental Mathematics supports:
-
the development of communication between the brain hemispheres;
-
the improvement of mental calculation skills;
-
the fuller development of intellectual and creative potential;
-
the growth of self-confidence;
-
increased concentration and attentiveness;
-
improved foreign language learning abilities.
During the lessons, children also learn the fundamentals of robotics, practice creating algorithms, and develop programming skills.
