COURSE FOR CHILDREN AGED 6–7

The summer Estonian language course is a unique opportunity for 6–7-year-old children to prepare thoroughly for school. The program is divided into three parts:

• June — 4 lessons, each 1.5 hours

• July — 10 lessons

• August — 7 lessons

In each part, we:

• Intensively develop writing and reading skills — practicing handwriting, learning to write letters and words correctly, and reading a lot

• Practice speaking through dialogues — children learn to communicate in Estonian in various everyday situations

• Use playful and creative elements — to keep learning engaging and help the material stick better

Lesson topics do not repeat, allowing children to continuously discover new aspects of the language and stay motivated. We believe that such early and thorough preparation helps future first-graders adapt to school more easily and avoid unnecessary stress at the beginning of the school year.

 

COURSE FOR CHILDREN AGED 8–11

The summer Estonian language course for children aged 8–11 is an extended program that helps children not only strengthen their existing knowledge but also reach a new level of language proficiency. The program is divided into three parts:

• June — 4 lessons, each 1.5 hours

• July — 10 lessons

• August — 7 lessons

Each part includes:

• Advanced writing skills development — children learn to express their thoughts correctly and write short texts in Estonian

• Advanced reading practice — reading more complex texts and analyzing their meaning to improve comprehension and expand vocabulary

• Speaking practice and dialogues — training oral communication in different situations and discussing topics relevant to children

• Creative and game-based tasks — enriching the learning process with engaging projects to reinforce material in a fun and accessible way

Monthly topics do not repeat, ensuring continuous learning and sustained interest. This intensive course significantly improves Estonian language skills and provides a confident start to the new school year.
